I find it discouraging to come in here and see such negativity towards posters from other forums and especially the General Discussion forum. You do know that we're all part of the same giant progressive thinking tent and ultimately we all agree: BUSH IS AN ASSHOLE.

I actually enjoy GD even though sometimes I feel like :banghead: :banghead: but more times then most I find amazing discussions from posters who really know how to compose their thoughts on an intelligent, thoughtful manner.

Finally as my mother use to say - if you don't like it then don't do it. Nobody is forcing anyone to read GD, but personally I think you're missing out on some great stuff with all this negativity

I'm not so daring to consider anything beyond making it, but they will be there. As big of an asshole as Terrell can be he'll show this season why he deserves to be such an asshole. And McNabb is such a class act that he won't let pre-season infighting affect him. Hell it took Rush Limbaugh's derogatory comments to make one of McNabb's best seasons. The more you toss on McNabb's shoulders the better and believe me the guy has something to prove after the Super Bowl fiasco!

So although I'm not a pure city girl I'm of the Philly metro region (trust me - Wilmington has no news/tv channel except local access - everything we get is from Philly).

I don't care what you say about the fans because I'll be the first one to agree. But you basically came out against an entire city in an extremely insultive manner not only to me but to all of the DUers here in the Philly and Philly metro region.

A lot of people in there do nothing but rip on the Democrats. They never mention Bush or Republicans. They blame everything on the Democrats as if we were the party in power. Someone had the audacity to blame Clinton for not helping Gore in the 2000 elections. Mind you they totally forgot that 1.) Gore didn't want his help and 2.) Gore showed just how much he didn't want Clinton's support by picking Joe Lieberman, a democrat who voted to impeach Clinton.

But somehow 5 years later Clinton was to blamed for not getting out there and campaigning for Al Gore.

I find that it's all very disheartening, and I'm surprised Democrats win *any* elections with a mindset.
