5. Talk to them about the reality of their own lives

Don't fall into the trap about discussing abortion, god and guns.

Talk about the facts of life....ask them questions.

1. Do you have 6 months salary packed away in a bank in cash?
2. Do you own your home?
3. Are you able to cover all your expenses and have extra left over every month?
4. Can you save?
5. Do you have health care?

When it comes down to it, we have let a lot of people who would probably vote Democratic based on just the harsh realities of life, slip away from us because we don't address what is real to them.

Here in PA there are a lot of democratic voters who aren't exactly my kind of democrats, but they vote democratic based on economics. Note...they aren't my kind of democrats cuz they have racist and misogynistic tendencies.

Then dropping about half the platform, including Minority and Women's rights, etc. would do it, however, then we might as well throw in the towel and turn into the GOP, what would be the difference? Believe me, I wish it weren't this way, but 90% of White Male Conservatives are bigots and sexist in the extreme. I live in an area surrounded by these assholes, they are better off in their own damn universe, they are barely human to me.
