Weird question, huh? But it will be interesting to see if there are any trends or curves.

1. Our previous house number was 110
Our current one is 1100. Will our next one be 11000? I hope there isn't a next one; I detest moving!

6. Several Years Ago, I Moved From 11741 to 11714...
Two different cities, two different states, one was an apartment building number, the other was a house number. It took me about a year before I could type or say my house number without having to make a conscious effort to NOT say the old number.

I detest moving too. The last two moves have been with PROFESSIONAL movers! We did about half of the pack-up and boxing ourselves, but when moving day came... I did NOTHING but observe.

7. Benford's Law
Benford's law states that the leading digit n in base b (n =
1, ..., b − 1) occurs with probability proportional to
logb(n + 1) − logb(n). In base 10, the leading digits have
the following distribution by Benford's law:

Leading digit 	Probability
1               30.1 %
2               17.6 %
3               12.5 %
4               9.7 %
5               7.9 %
6               6.7 %
7               5.8 %
8               5.1 %
9               4.6 %

Search with google for "Benford Road" The majority of addresses on the first page are in the 9000 and 900 blocks. Those witty urban planners :).

3. I would think most will start with 1
more 100's than 500's, more 1000's than 5000's, etc.
