4. I so understand.

My spoiled kid left last Friday for a weekend trip with his coach and team, the first time he's ever been away for more than a day. The trip cost us over 600 bucks. He's 14 and knew it was going to be hard on me. He climbed into the van without even saying goodbye. He promised to call twice a day but never did. I had to call him to check in and when I did, it was as if I was interrupting his fun. The good thing is that my kid had to come home on Monday and I have the chance to get even :).
