I think I had a minor heart attack when I heard about the INXS show because to me Michael *was* INXS, with some other guys I didn't care about.
But these people want their careers. Can't blame them. And they know that the lost member was loved, so they're hoping that by showing the process audiences/fans will get to know the new member and have a fond feeling for them. As well as getting to help vote (in the INXS version anyway), having a hand in it.
But the voters for the INXS show are lately toking some crack, so I hope INXS makes the right choice. The show has made me a bit interested in the bandmembers, and it is eerie watching the Wednesday night show when one of them gets kicked off. The mortification on the faces of all the hopefuls...in that "people watching" sense it's fascinating.
Haven't watched the TLC show. That looks too sad...it's also been less time, with Left Eye gone, na?
