Prosecutors decided not to file charges after McMichael was arrested in June 2004 and accused of hitting his wife. McMichael had been charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant woman, a second-degree felony that is punishable by up to 15 years in prison."
He assaulted his wife in 2004. Nothing. He assaulted her again July 2005. Still nothing. He beats the crap out of women and nothing happens to him. He doesn't even have to show up to court. $500 fine? Barely a blip on the radar. Why should he obey the rules? He's not getting punished when he disobeys them
