2. OMG!
I'm almost tempted to say it was better than CCR's original.

They should make a CD of the music performed there tonight and sell it for the charities. They would make a ton of money because the performances were out of sight.

I'll NEVER forget Mary J. Blige singing "One" with U2. Unbelievably moving. An incredible performance.

3. There's a concert tomorrow night on VH1 & MTV; I think
it's from 8-11 eastern time to raise money for Katrina victims. Performers include Green Day and Paul McCartney. There are others, but I can't recall off the top of my head.

4. Dave Matthews, Nine Inch Nails and many others.
Comments might be interesting-especially Reznor. He's posted on his site and he sounds angry (check to see if there is a delay since he wanted to play on MTV back in June and they wouldn't let him make a political message then).

7. It should be interesting all around.
It will pretty hard for MTV to keep all of these performers from letting their feelings be known. It seems like the climate has changed since June. We'll see, though!

5. That will definitely be worth watching.
Is that the one where the Rolling Stones are supposed to perform?

11. Yep.
One of the last minute acts.
Should be interesting. I wonder if they plan to censor any comments.

8. Agree
for awhile, the cameras didn't have any pans on the Edge, and I kept muttering to my spouse, "where's the Edge, where's the Edge"?

Spouse's comment: you talking about the commerical or product?

LOL, my spouse didn't know "the Edge" of U2!

12. They finally showed him during the guitar solo.
I was wondering where he was, too.

Someone please tell me there will be video of the telethon. Pretty please!
I got home too late to set up the recorder.
