LOOK AT AND COMMENT ON MY CAT !!! (warning: 3 jpgs!)

I picked him up as a stray kitten...eating garbage, totally infested with fleas, and tons of tapeworms to boot!! (yeah it was like "where did all this rice on my couch come from?)

That was 15 and 1/2 years ago, a week before we got an arctic storm when the temperature went in the teens here...as a sick six month old abandoned kitten he would have probably died...
My apartment at the time had a no pets policy but my landlord liked him and me and "looked the other way"...

Felix has been my best friend ever since...he knows when I come home and comes out and greets me still!




And yes I am moving, here is where I post at night from...but not for much longer!

We love our cats.

Let me tell you what happened last night. Shucks, I just want to talk about my cat experiences. Well, my big Farns decided not to come in. So I went to bed. At two in the morning I was awakened by the hideous sound of a pack of coyotes in a frenzy, close by. I raced outside calling for Farns. Nothing. I couldn't sleep for hours. I was so scared that he was torn to shreds. I went through all of the things we did the day before. It might have been our last day. But he was there in the morning.

Isn't it nice to have a feline partner. Give hugs to Felix for me, if I may be so selfish. Hope he likes the new place.

I loooooooove orange kitties with lotsa white. I don't have any orangies at the moment (I've got a grey, a brown, and a brown/white), but I've always been partial to that color. What a lucky guy. :loveya: Where would we be without our kitties?

30. I rescued a little stray myself

she was a abandoned, pathetic little cat. Her face and ears was covered in welts from insect bites. But she was so sweet and adorable. I took her in in 2001 and she has been my little buddy ever since. She is very nice, not a mean bone in her body. My only beef with her is that she wakes me up early when she is hungry and becomes frantic when I am trying to leave to go to work or to go out
