Remember speeches when you were in High school?

What did you do yours on?
I remember when I was 16 I did it on carrots. I broke out laughing in the middle when I realized I was doing a speech on carrots.

3. speech class freshman year

did a tarot card reading, one on legalizing marijuana, another on nirvana (the band, not the state of mind)...i usually left them until the night before...

still got an A in that class

5. I took a communications class as a freshman

We had to do several speeches. The only ones that I remember off hand were my pet peeve speech: Two Faced People, and my hero speech, Martin Luther King. jr. I also successfully debated that there should be no salary caps on professional sports players even though I felt the opposite way at the time.

6. I did a speech on Ayatollah Khomenei.

That was the height of my public speaking career.:)
