I have a question about crocs (the shoes)..
First of all I have to tell you that I possess a severe fashion defecit. I know little or nothing about style or trends.

I bought my two daughters each a pair of the croc clogs. (Actually I bought my six year old a pair of pink croc look alikes from Payless-the ten year old isn't so easily fooled.) I think they look kind of stupid but alot of the kids are wearing them and the girls really wanted them.

I was wondering-are the croc clogs appropriate for boys as well? and if so with or without the holes? I know this is a stupid question, but I was thinking about buying a pair for my son, but I honestly didn't know if this is setting him up to get the snot beat out of him or not. Thanks in advance.

I guess my fashion deficit is worse than yours.

edit: damn that was a lot of typos for two short sentences.

2. They are plastic-y clogs in bright colors...
I think they look stupid-which means they are a hot fashion item-at least around here. They look alot like those plastic gardening clogs you buy at the farm supply store.

3. Like jellie sandals from the 80s?
I used to keep up with fashion a few years ago but after those short skirt things (the ones with two layers) came out and EVERY SINGLE GIRL looked exactly the same I gave up. Now, when I look at the people at my school all looking trendy and exactly alike, I just have to shake my head.

10. crocs
I like mine a lot. I am only sorry I bought them in a drab color. Pink or Yellow would be much more fun. I wanted them and could not decide the color at the time I bought them. I think they cost too much so I've been tempted to buy the Pay-Less version too, but have not yet. The Croc version is supposed to have an anti-bacterial quality to it. They can be thrown in the washer to clean them. I also would like the garden type clog that are available at Target for about $12-15. Crocs are comfortable, although they do not really support your feet that much - but then my feet hurt no matter what shoes I wear! I haven't seen boys wearing them in our town yet, but I don't see why they couldn't.
