Naked Gun 2 1/2 - Shows Barbara BUSH Knocked over Balcony

(Yeah,it's old.) Have never really seen it all, just have let it run in the background every few years. Today saw more of it than ever---HILARIIOUS political commentary.

At first one reference put me off, when it showed Leslie in a real downer of a nightclub, with the depressed lounge singer, then pictures of HUGE disasters on the wall---------the Hindenburg, ... the Titanic, .... then DUKAKIS. There was also a negative reference to the Democratic Party. But then,

It absolutely SKEWERED Poppy BUSH. Then Poppy asks Leslie to accept an assignment where he will be submerged in the absolute scum of the earth. And Leslie says, "You want me to JOIN YOUR CABINET?"

And at the end, Leslie is on a balcony with Poppy and the old witch (not in the Wiccan sense) Barbara, and he KNOCKS her over the railing and in trying to pull her back up, RIPS her dress off, leaving her hanging in her skivvies.

Maybe they think that both political parties are sleazy and self-serving. :think:

Being a disenchanted Dem myself, I still have the occasional trouble not taking anti-Dem jabs with the levity they truly do deserve.

OJ Simpson is hilarious in those flicks. The's a flashback to Disco and OJ has to turn sideways to get his afro in the door...

The whole franchise rocked.
