Poll question: What mileage would a hybrid hummer get?
And, as "hybrid hummer" might be too complex for those folks to say, never mind understand, let's call them... wait, that's gross... oh well!

But I digress. How many MPGs would a hybrid hummer get?

And, yes, I know such a hybrid will never be made... :D

1. Well, considering GM's 'hybrid' cars get something like 30 mpg...

3. Yes, but a hummer is not a car.
Or hadn't you noticed?

4. They could call it the H-Squared or something
What does an H2 get? About 5 feet per gallon? I think an H^2 could get around 20 feet per gallon if they put some effort into the efficiency.

5. GM already makes Hybrid Hummers; you've seen them

They don't give fuel economy figures, but I don't think they're very high.

8. Why not just put a small nuclear reactor on board?
It would be real efficient then.
