Adobe Photoshop CS2 - what's the best price available?
Newegg has it for $559.

directdeals.com has it for $629

Directly from Adobe, it's $599

Have you seen it for less than $559? If so, where?

Thx!

1. Academic
If you know a teacher or student or such, you can get educational pricing on most software... try www.academicsuperstore.com

Not sure, but I bet you can get just photoshop CS2 for $199 or $249.

2. I got it from the school bookstore for $99.
It might be worth it to sign up for a class buy it and drop the class. That might conflict with the EULA. Don't you just want to learn it? p2p might be a good alternative.

5. Learn and then apply it to a career.
IT is obviously toast at this point and too many people have told me my photograph skills are worth pursuing...

7. I stole it at first..
Then I got a job using it. And my employer bought it for me. They didn't like the idea of using stolen software on my iBook.

3. How's it different from 6?
And BTW, what's a good 3D image editor?

4. More high-end filtering and manipulation.
I'm not keen on the product activation nonsense, but I am going to become a professional graphic designer and may as well study and buy what the industry uses. :-)

3D image editing... That I wouldn't know. :-( I used to use caligari's truespace 4, but that was a long time ago...
