With the Twins out of it and all...but, even though the Tribune is all gloom and doom about them...I think they will be very good next year...alot of young players this year...needed time to develop!!!

Sid Hartman is always particularly hard on the Twins...he spends too much time sucking George Steinbrenner's ass.

So far I like Scott Baker, and that Liriano kid...I like a team built on starting pitching.

And I will have no trouble with saying goodbye to Kyle Lohse...

Pitching will definitely be their strong point next year...but I think Mauer, Morneau, Bartlett, Ford etc just needed to get a full season under their belts. They really are like they were in 1999, showing promise but very young. And they have that great farm system. Won't be too many expectations of them next year...everyone will be picking the Indians and White Sox!!!
