On a 2005 Ford, (still had temp tags that said it was 2005, in AZ the car's mfg and model are on the tag)--I'm NOT making this up, I swear--my sister was with me and saw it too:

Don't blame me--I voted for Bush.

My head absolutely hurts. I can see a diehard with a regular B/C sticker (sadly, in AZ I've seen several), but this??? :wtf:

Help; we are going nuts trying to work this one out!

Edit: typo

4. It's freaking killing us both. We are both pretty intelligent
(sis is in Mensa, even), and possessed of pretty decent senses of humor, and nothing computes.

5. He's not to blame for calling down God's wrath?
That's the only rationale I can imagine.

6. we have a lot to overcome
last year, I was down in NC on business and was in a conference room with 5 or 6 other guys. They all made time in their schedules to listen to Bush's special appearance with Rush Limbaugh...

If I knew nothing about politics, this is what else I would have learned:

1) The Democratic Party of the 21st century is WAY WAY WAY more liberal than the Democratic Party of the 1960s & 70s.

2) The Swift Boat book "Unfit for Command" is the best documented book in world history.

3) Clinton deserved to be impeached and it's a shame he was able to finish his term.

4) We just HAD to invade Iraq... no reason given, just "we had to go in there" and heads nodding in agreement.

8. Some of the people my hubby's buddies still believe that the
"libruls" are still persecuting THEM.

My hubby, an independent, asks them how--the most common answer is the--wait for it--you know what's coming--MEDIA. :eyes:

13. Hell, Limbaugh lately has actually been proudly admitting
that we invaded Iraq for oil.

"And why shouldn't we?", he argues (to paraphrase).

We need the oil to power the US. They have it, we want it.

Curious that not even a year ago he was attacking anyone who tried to suggest that oil might have been part of Bush's motivation.

14. My head hurts
The only thing I can even think that might mean is, as an above poster said, it might be a reference to voting for GHW Bush in 1992.

But, where the hell would someone get that bumper sticker, and why the fuck would they put it on their 2005 vehicle?

I'm guessing that its supposed to be a parody or satire of the "Don't blame me: I voted for Gore/Kerry".

But even if it is, the slogan doesn't make a damn bit of sense.

Although, I've noticed that conservatives seem to be incapable of detecting or using sarcasm, satire, or any form of humor or art.

15. These people are a lost cause.
I've decided that there's nothing one can do to make these people see what damage they've done to this country by enabling chimpy and his gang of thugs. Nor will I forgive that.
