I'm a Texan who hates Bush. Yes, I know I'm not suppose to hate anyone.

I'm a Christian who hates Bush. Yes, I know I'm going to hell for that one.

I'm a Baby Boomer who HATES Bush. And I never liked his momma or his daddy!!

We are poor, white, older, Texas Democrats, a definite minority!!

I hope and pray I live to see the day when we dig out of the mess Bush
has gotten us into. But I fear I'll die watching my children struggle
with Bush Mania. We fear for our future; Social Security has been
screwed up and we will need it when we are not able to work. Unlike
W. we don't have a rich daddy or rich friends to give us goodies. For
the last 40+ years we worked for employers who didn't offer benefits
at a pay scale so low we were barely able to clothe and feed our two
children (without welfare checks)!

What does Bush's war mean to us. He and his oil baron friends and
their high gasoline prices are robbing us of much needed money. My
husband works 68 miles from our home; carpools but gasoline expenses
suck up funds needed for repairs to our old house. We face a winter
where will be colder than last year because of high fuel prices. The
dog will need two sweaters while I'Il layer on more sweats and push
the thermostat down even further and pray the pipes don't freeze and
burst.

I keep praying people will wake up and realize Bush is an idiot and
they have been following a puppet created by old men seeking greatness
but these idiots seem to be in a trance...he's our president, we HAVE
to support him...WHAT...they tried to impeach Clinton for quickies
with Monica! He didn't bomb children in Iraq or cut Social Security
benefits to the point future senior citizens will be living on the
streets begging.

Clinton loves to chase skirts but at least he was a leader who could
complete an intelligent sentence. The rest of the world didn't care
if he had affairs but the world does care and fear what Bush is doing.

I'm almost ashamed to say I'm Christian. I do not believe what is
happening in our country is being done in HIS name. I believe people
are pushing their own agenda and beliefs on others which is not what
our country is about and definitely not what my father fought for in
WW II. We are becoming the terrorists. Perhaps with Katrina God is
trying to show us what an idiot George W. Bush really is. His pal
Rice was on vacation, shopping and spending big bucks on shoes, etc
while people were dying from lack of water! Why didn't she get her
butt down to the coast ahd volunteer to help. If the news media could
get there she could have, too. Colin Powell was a good man and I hate
that Bush's war tainted him.

Off my soapbox. Thanks, that felt good!
