I hate getting voicemail, takes forever to actually get to the message (99.9999% totally unneeded call) and if you aren't quick enough hit the 3-6 you have to go all the way back through it to get rid of the damned thing.

you know that 'voice mail lady' gets treated like a QUEEN whenever she goes in and records all that crap?

really there are a handful of "celebreties" who actually do the recordings. they make a SHITLOAD of $$ and even have an enterage everywhere they go.

5. I saw HER on some show a few years ago

THE voice prompt lady. They had her read several different scripts and all the numbers and have been patching it together since then.

4. I don't even check mine at work anymore

I tell everybody that if you REALLY want to get hold of me during the work day, use email.

I always need "written" documentation for anything that goes on, and it's much easier to check my email (i.e., automatic) than it is to pick up the phone, dial into voicemail, and listen to your rambling, pointless prattle about how it must be my system's fault that you don't know how to use a computer.

7. We have this cool unified messaging system. I can bypass her and

get VM as an attachment to my email. OR... I can call her and she will read my email to me.

This can be fun... I especially like hearing her say 'poopyhead' repeatedly.
