Is anyone else disturbed by the way Alicia Bridges sings the word

She sings it like this: "Ak-Shawn."

I've always felt really uncomfortable with the way Ms. Bridges renders that line. Like, it makes me feel funny and stuff.

Am I alone? Is there any ak-shawn around here?

15. The drummer plays sixteenth notes on the hi-hat and...

opens the hi-hat to create a "swishing" sound in between the bass drum hit on the one and the snare drum hit on the two in each bar.

Also, there are disco-esque strings all over the tune and the bass player is playing eighth note octave skips. AND she mentions the "disco round" in the chorus.

I think the BPM is also 120...isn't the typical disco BPM 140? I dunno.

words? They will pronounce a word correctly when they talk but then when they sing they mispronounce it. Also people with northern accents when they talk put on southern accents when they sing.
