A question for those who speak and write French |
|
What's would be best way to translate "Death to New Orleans"" in French?
I want to use that phrase in a poem I'm working on about the Big Easy.

Sorry, double post, but I figured I should probably copy it to the correct location.
"La more ta newvele orleeahn"
I may not quite have that right. It's hard to type out phonetically.

3. That sounds good to me, my dear enigmatic... |
|
I was trying to think hard for this one..but it was harder than the question he had this morning!
Or maybe it's just because it's late, and now I'm tired...
Anyhow, your answer sounds and looks good to this old French major...
Bon soir!

12. La mort vers la Nouvelle Orléans |
|
The other translation was death of, but you said death to.
I may be wrong, my French is abysmal at best.
Khash.
