What's on your agenda for today?
I just got up and need a little time to actually wake up. But, when I do, I have to: get dressed, feed cats, pet cats, fold laundry, put laundry away, go to the bank, get groceries, put groceries away, pet cats, eat lunch, sift out the cat litter, wipe down everything in utility room, take everything off the floor of utility room, vacuum the floor, mop the floor, pet cats, bring in the mail and pay any bills that came with it, take a break, cook dinner, do dishes, watch some T.V., pet cats, take a shower, put load of laundry in washer, watch Dave Letterman, pet cats, put laundry in dryer, chase three cats off my bed, go to bed (my husband is out of town for the week--so going to bed means reading a chapter in my book and going to sleep--sigh...oh well..) And then, get up tomorrow morning and start all over again.

What's on your agenda for today?

1. Overthrow the running dogs of imperialism
well, not really, at least not right now.

First, I have to get some coffee. Then type up some meeting minutes. Then go configure a couple of web servers for a software installation/conversion I'm doing next week. Then finish the final testing/debugging some minor issues that need to get fixed before the conversion.

Then lunch. Then make some reports for the boss. And all this while I answer questions from my end-users about all the stuff that's going to happen next week when we do the conversion/upgrade to the new software.

I'm glad I have a job, but sometimes it's not very exciting.

2. Here it is
I got up at 4:45, fed the cats, got ready for the gym and took the kids to school (they had drill team practice at 5:30).

Drove into work and went to the gym (my gym is at work; I work at a college). Jogged 3 miles and did some work in the weight room. Showered and dressed for work.

Got some breakfast to eat at my desk.

Got to my desk.

Posted on the Fitness & Exercise forum, at my breakfast and checked my email.

Now I'm working and will work until 4:00 p.m.

Tonight I will go home and have a light supper (probably tomato sandwich :bounce:) and then head out to a parents' meeting of Operation Graduation.

Then I'll go home again, do a load of laundry, pack my gym bag for tomorrow, and go to bed.

Then get up again and do it all over.

3. Watching confirmation hearings
Petting the cats. Practicing cello. Unloading the dishwasher. Loading the dishwasher. Perhaps taking a nap. A very low key day!

4. I'm still working on 2nd cup of coffee
Not much sleep from 3-7. In a bit I have to go into the attic and see if I've kept the bookcase/drawer bed from when my children were small. My granddaughter needs more storage and I promised her I would look today. After that I have to spray the pumpkin plants with a fungicide and hopefully trim some shrubs that are getting out of hand.

Of course, I still have to do all the normal stuff, feed the dog, pet the dog, dodge the dog when he runs like a nut, trip over the dog, pull my shoes out of the dogs mouth and then tell my now sleeping hubby(night shift worker) that the dog ate his wallet between 7 & 8 this morning when I finally got one good hour of sleep.

7. My 4 year old is sick.
So essentially my day is to try to get some fluids into him, make him as comfortable as possible, and guiding him to the toilet to hurl.

12. I've been
recovering from surgery for a burst appendix--but I've gotten to a point now where I feel I can start exercising again without hurting myself. I just started doing some upper body exercises and tomorrow I'm going to start taking a 30 minute walk everyday and add on time to that if I don't feel I'm over doing it. I never thought I could get so excited about taking my walks again--but I am!!!:bounce: :woohoo:

10. Still trying to get that pesky life in order again. But first: pie.
More strawberry pie, in fact. Not interested in any other kind of pie. Pie good, people bad.

11. Trying to stay awake
and appear productive. I had a rather stressful night last night, so yeah, my day will be spent acting as though I don't feel like death warmed over. Wheee.

13. Work at the office until 4 p.m.
Fight traffic to get home, walk dogs, feed dogs, relax for a few moments, eat dinner, watch TV and go on Internet. Then it's time for bed. I get up at 4:30, so I'm usually asleep by 9:30.
