My brother and his wife have had several Boston Terriers. Chester, the first one, was the craziest dog ever. He would sacrifice life, limb, and anything else to get to his favorite bone toy.

Not all fat pets are fat because of owners who neglect to provide proper diet and care. I have a very overweight cat who is on a special diet and under the close watch of our vet. He has many birth defects and a variety of special needs. His weight is just impossible to manage. We're very concerned about his weight and his health and do everything we can to take care of him. Feels pretty crappy to be hated because it's everything we can do just to keep him comfortable and alive.
