on those who feel like giving up and vent on the DU. This space is also a safe place to do that.

The way the spin is so constant even when YOU KNOW what reality is, it's hard to fathom that so many others are drinking the koolaid and if you aren't hyper aware it's easy to do some simple thing that makes you feel like you aren't doing enough and then soon it's the slippery slide down the slope into who-gives-a-shit? The amount of spin that is out there on any given day is like falling into Lake Superior - it's almost always cold enough to give you hyperthermia before you can battle your way out unless you have someone to throw you a line.

So if you have some fighting spirit left, help those who feel like giving up to find their way back.
