Any cheer parents here?
If you have kids who are new to cheering and trying out soon, they might find my team's website helpful. :)

1. Luckily,
I finished that portion of my stepdaughter's life about 7 years ago.

But I still remember the cheers....

Best of luck to you and your team.

3. Very cool site
thanks...

My daughter is as yet too young, but she wants to be a cheerleader (I would rather have her play a sport that cheerleaders cheer for, but that is a separate issue)

We treat it like dance and gymnastics in that we want to help them to keep that awesome flexibility they have as tots and we want to develop their body control and really capitalize on it.

As for going with sports that you cheer for take note that my cheer team is also the school basketball and soccer teams, and one girl plays baseball (NOT softball) as well.

In other sports they throw balls, in cheerleading we throw athletes. ;)
