16. Ha! So I'm not that weird!
I did the same thing - my best friend started doing it so I did, too. We were cheerleaders and thought that the football players hated hair on girls ANYWHERE except their heads :silly:

Suffice to say I was lucky to have made it through Junior High alive.

I have very hairy, but blonde, forearms...so I tried cutting the hair with scissors one day...actually, I think I was Jr. High-aged too.

When I was about that age, I "trimmed" the left side of my bangs, which left them sticking up straight. Why? All I can recall is that I wanted to experiment with my hair.

9. I wouldn't worry. When I was in kindergarten ...
My teacher pulled me aside because I was trying to cut my hair off with the safety scissors. Damn safety scissors and their no cuttingness.

The greatest irony is I ended up growing my hair long enough to reach my waist. :)

12. OMG. I almost sprayed OJ on my screen.
I'm sorry, but that is funny.

My sister once cut her bangs to her forehead. Said she was mad at me and that's why she did it. My mom quickly corrected her and told her that if she was mad at me then she should cut MY bangs, not her own!

Kids just do weird shit sometimes. But don't let her near anymore razors!

13. My daughter once cut her own bangs...
then blamed it on Daddy. He had trimmed her up a couple of days before, and she didn't think they were short enough. So, she cut them herself, crooked like mad! When I asked her who cut her bangs, she said "Daddy did it."

14. Oy...been there, done that.
When I was 11, I tried to pluck my eyebrows  It did NOT turn out well, and took months to grow back in. When I was 13, I started trying to cut my own hair, and when I was 14 my best friend and I decided it would be a great idea to shave our arms (!!). And, I can't believe I actually posted this on a public message board.

because there was nothing in the huge dress code that adressed eyebrows.

Edited on Wed Sep-14-05 04:28 AM by MissHoneychurch
it was shortly before I had my first schoolday. I decided to cut a bunch of hair out of my forhead bangs. Very clever. On my pictures from that day you can still see it, even though the hair dresser tried her best to make a "haircut" out of it.

So you see, it is nothing to worry about. She has to deal with the strange looks she gets at school.

I think I was 8 or 9 and I was convinced I had a unibrow. So I offered to shave my cousin's arms if she shaved off the hair in between my eyebrows. She ended up shaving off half my eyebrow. That sucked ass. Not exactly the same situation but that just made me remember

I wanted to have thinner eyebrows, like my older sisters, and thought shaving would be easier than plucking.

Boy, was I wrong. I looked like a frigging idiot.

I, however, didn't have a reason when I took the nail clippers and clipped all my eyelashes off...
