Urine leaves uric acid crystals behind after it dries! If you have a black light, check your carpet! I did this in the last place I rented...knew the previous tenants had a small dog, and apparently that little critter liked to piddle-drip a lot. Needless to say, there was no one-second rule for dropping a chip on the carpet...ugh!
