I don't care what you say, but Led Zeppelin is the best band EVER.
You may not know this but I have been passionate about Led Zeppelin's music since I was 12 years old. After my mother took me to see Shaun Cassidy in concert, my older brother told me he would not have a lil sister listening to bubble gum music. He introduced me to all the classics including LZ, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Yes, Queen, Stones and a host of the greatest bands of that era.
When I was 14, my father was diagnosed with lung cancer and ultimately it took his life away. I remember those challenging days trying to deal with this loss and many times it would be a stack of LZ albums on my old phonograph record, with the volume at 10 and my earphones on so I wouldn't annoy my mother. I was even suppose to see them in concert when I was 15 but alas that was the year that Bonham had died
So say what you will about Led Zeppelin but throughout the Good Times, Bad Times of my life I was never really that far away from the music that meant the most to me in this world.
So the only people who blow are people who start threads that Led Zeppelin Blows. Bite ME (in a loving, friendship way)
:loveya:
PS: Best concert memory ever - Robert Plant in 1988 when I had front row at Hershey Park. During the 2nd chorus of "In the Mood" (of his 2nd solo album) he reached his hand out to me and we held hands while he sung!! Absolutely Dreamy!!
