I was kinda suggesting that we could have an informal fund-raiser. The official position seems to be that a formal fund-raiser is not appropriate at this time -- and that it is not needed. And I can't see arguing with that. But this constant operation in partially-disabled mode diminishes the value of the board, in addition to making the experience less pleasant.

I just wish that I was completely confident that the problems are all related to normal use.
