My laptop's "#one/exclamation point" key is dead, can I reassign

these characters to one of the F keys? My latop is not worth repairing. And ironically, I have spared DUers from many unneccessary exclamatory posts.

I spilled cough syrup on keyboard. And when it dried out, that is the only key that died. I have to cut and paste ones and exclamations. Its kind of fucked. I will be punting this laptop soon.;oefjoaie jfioajofej
