Gumby mocks J Edgar Hoover
I just checked out a Gumby DVD from our neighborhood library. The FBI Warning is accompanied with a portrait of Hoover. As the warning scrolls the portrait is covered with graffiti adding funny glasses and horns to Hoover. I certainly wasn't expecting to see that, too freakin funny.

1. *snicker*
I haven't seen gumby in years - and don't recall the humour. Perhaps it is like bugs bunny - designed for kids (to get the giggles) - but full of adult inside jokes. How was the rest the film?

While I get some prep work done for tomorrow's classes and check in here so I haven't really watched it. It's pretty slow paced compared to contemporary animation. the boys are quite subdued.

3. Watch "A Gumby Day", if that episode is on the tape...
It's surreal, even for Gumby.

4. That episode isn't on the DVD
But some of the ones that are on the DVD are pretty trippy. If I still smoked pot, it would be fun to put the kids to bed and veg on Gumby for a while. :smoke:

5. I've noticed that on Rhino's DVDs as well.
I get the MST3K DVDs from them and they always open with that. In fact,I think all of their movies do.
