Holy Cow, my streets under water!

I'm driving home on the turnpike, and I run into the worst rain storm I've seen in years. I could barely see the hood of my car and the wipers were worthless. This rain does not let up until I'm nearly home in Portland. Once I get of the highway, boom! Road, what road? Its 1-2 feet of muddy river baby! Some car is stalled in front of my apartment because the engine flooded. There is so much water its shooting OUT of the storm drains, and at quite a pace too.

Portland needs a better drainage system!
