Hey everyone, I'm going to have the timing belt replaced on my car. Do you know roughly how much I'm going to end up spending? Thanks.

They have to rip the entire thing apart and put it together again - backwards.
If you're lucky they'll get it lined up right the third time.

4. The part is not expensive, but it's a labor-intensive job. |
|
I'd say from $200-500 depending on the car and the mechanic.

7. Should have bought a car with a timing CHAIN. |

They're noisy, but they last forever.
