Now if I can just figure out how to catch wiley little Skittles, the ass-kicker. She's going to get the chop, too -- if I can catch her. Any ideas?

With a "kitty buffet" as the inticing food in the trap?

When we tried to catch our neighborhood ferals to get them neutered and spayed (and MAJOR kudos to you for helping to stop pet overpopulation!), we had one - Thomas - who looked very much like your Ginger. Almost identical actually, but he was VERY feral. We got a large dog crate and started sticking a plate in there and he'd go in and eat then come out. We let him do this for about 2 weeks, always walking slowly around the crate and getting as close as we could. Finally one day he was in there eating and we just shut the door of the crate quickly and off to the vet he went. One word of caution if you try this though: be sure beforehand that the crate fits in your car! My Mom caught Thomas in the crate, then realized it didn't fit in her backseat :) So she had to borrow a friend's SUV at 7 am to take him to the vet.
