My grandson is on the way! Son and DIL at hospital

My baby grandson should be born very soon. Due date wasn't until Oct. 3, but DIL's water broke tonight, so am now at my son's home taking care of my granddaughter (age 3). Am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited! Even though the due date is in Oct., DIL wasn't exactly sure of time frame she became pregnant...yesterday's ultrasound showed baby boy at 6 lbs. 9 oz, so hopefully all will go well!

Will update when I know more.

PS Regardless of the post in GD by someone that the Lounge is strange, I love it here!

Am hoping same since this is her second birth. Will be getting updates from son. Sure wish I could be there like I was for my g-daughter when she was born....ahhhh...oh, well...have the privilege of taking care of her while we wait on her brother's entry into the world

Son just called...an hour after water breaking, DIL is 9 cm effaced and baby boy due WITHIN HOUR!!!!!
