The Creation Science Museum presents "Creation for Kids!"
Edited on Fri Sep-16-05 12:07 PM by Fenris

flamingyouth and I say these guys from the "Creation Science Museum" (located in scenic Glen Rose, Texas) on TBN last night (we were watching the "Reverend" Gary Busey talk about how he was killed by the Devil, and this show came on after that). Neither of us could understand what the Hell these two "doctors" were trying to convey, because their evidence went unexplained, but flamingyouth found their site and much to my horror they have a section for educating kids in the magical art of creation science!

On dinosaurs:

Have you ever wondered what happened to the dinosaurs to cause them to disappear? Evolutionists think that all the dinosaurs may have caught some kind of disease that caused them to get sick and die. They also think an asteroid may have hit the earth and made a big cloud of dust that blocked out the sun and killed all the dinosaur's food. But neither of these ideas explains how the dinosaurs could have fossilized so quickly or how other animals, such as mammals, could have survived without food. The Bible, however, gives a good explanation of what may have happened to the dinosaurs. Genesis chapters 6-8 tell the story of Noah's Flood. Noah's Flood can answer the questions of how the dinosaurs died, were fossilized so quickly, and can now be found all over the earth.

On geologic formations:

What about the canyons?

Evolutionists believe that different canyons, such as the Grand Canyon, were formed over a period of billions of years. Creation scientists believe that canyons were formed when the Floodwaters cut over the surface of the earth to get to the oceans.

Wouldn't that take a long time though?

Evolutionists would like you to believe so. They say it would still take millions of years for something as large as the Grand Canyon to form. But a few years ago a volcano in Washington erupted called Mount Saint Helen. It produced a huge pool of water that cut out a canyon in a matter of days. It didn't take millions of years at all.

On, um, the Earth as paradise:

How do we know that the earth was once a perfect paradise?

The Bible tells us in Genesis that when God created the earth everything about it was good.

That means the weather, the vegetation, the animal life...everything God created was perfect. There is still evidence of plants and animals in some of the most remote parts of the world today.

In Greenland, one of the coldest continents on the earth, branches from palm trees have been found buried deep in the snow and ice.

3. what is Bush &Co's take on creation of the universe
Edited on Fri Sep-16-05 12:46 PM by kalyanvenkat
Since they are flouting this "Intelligent Design" to smear evolution, I was wondering what is Bush & Co's take on our solar system and universe. How are they tackling the "Creation of earth and sun" stuff in the bible. I would like to know the spin they put on that.

If bush continues for four years, There will be a NASA mission to go and search for HEAVEN or is it on already )-

4. Creationists have changed their tune in recent years.
When I was in vacation Bible school as a child (sometimem shortly after the earth cooled) I was obsessed with dinosaurs and the fact that they weren't in the Bible. At the end of the session, they basically asked my mom not to bring me back the following year. I asked a lot of awkward questions.

I didn't know about that until I was older - but I did always wonder why each year I went to a different church's Bible school...

6. How dare you question what's in the Bible.
The bit about the dinosaurs being herbivores before Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge is even funnier and more ridiculous than believing dinosaurs didn't exist.

5. Well, I think people from the future actually started life on this planet.
They hopped in their way-back machine and landed in Africa in the 50's.
Any history before that was just because they hopped in their machine again and did some stuff earlier, only to fuck with the people in the current future.

Try to prove me wrong.

:P

I'm not sure I would even attempt to explain Pangea or Plate Techtonics to them.

11. You'll like this part then. Check it out....
It was also a time when giant animals roamed the Earth. Before the Flood, animals, plants, and even humans grew larger and lived longer. One reason was because the atmosphere of the Earth helped protect and preserve cells. Your eyes, your heart, your toes, and everything else in your body are made up of cells. But as you grow older those cells get tired and wear out so your body has to make more. Before the Flood, the special atmosphere helped the cells stay healthy even longer..

Dude, gotta get me some of that "special atmoshpere"....
