I ran into Wal-Mart today to pick up some things for a friend who just had knee surgery and there at the checkout counter was a basket full of yellow "Support Our Troops" ribbon magnets-ON CLEARANCE.

In the days after 9/11, my company at the time passed out little hand-sized American flags to everybody in their corporate office (probably over 3,000 people) - not sure about the field offices. But, in the little area where the flag part meets the flag pole was the words "Made in China" - that just seemed wrong.
