2. Want some advice?
Fisherman's Wharf is nice, but it is crowded, and touristy, and a tad bit over rated.

Chinatown has some real good eats and fun shopping, I would go there before the Wharf

Sausalito is awesome, make sure you go to "the cat and the fiddle" restaurant by the yacht club, and they also have some good shopping.

For a great walk, check out Golden Gate Park, it goes by the old bath ruins, and trails up the Pacific, and gives you an awesome view of the golden gate bridge from the back.

I love San Francisco, I go up there constantly.

7. Fishermans Grotto.
Good eats there on the wharf, if you like seafood.

4. Ooh, I was just there last month
You'll have a great time. I don't know if you're into it, but if you are there's great thrift store shopping to be had in the Mission. Both times I've gone I've had to get an extra bag for the plane ride home. We now joke that "I only go to SF to get my clothes shopping done."

It's such a wonderful city. Hope you have a lot of fun! :hi:

5. You might want to spell Sausalito correctly
They're a little sensative about that sort of thing.

6. The old Ferry Building has been converted into a great market
foodies delight ...

I hear the Ferry Building restaurant the Slanted Door is great; but I haven't been there.

I wonder if the restaurant Guaymas is still in Sausalito (or was it Tiburon). Anyway, that was delicious.

I lived in S.F. years ago.

Also, if you have time, go to my old stomping grounds, Cal (UC Berkeley) across the Bay. You can take Bart there ...
