my wife got a job at a liberal think tank!

I don't know if it's entirely accurate to call it a liberal think tank, but my wife will be working at the Bill of Rights Defense Committee starting next month. They're the ones who are getting communities to pass resolutions saying they won't comply with the Patriot Act.

She's finishing a long master's program that was in many ways discouraging because of a lack of support from her department. But the funny thing is, their inability to pay her on a regular basis for her actual research led her to take on web design and grantwriting work in the department. That in the end proved far more useful in landing this job. A job where she'll get to be part of the vast left-wing conspiracy!
