I'm in a real bad mood today.

Got into an argument with a longtime acquaintance, who is normally very progressive and open-minded. We were talking about the news, and all of a sudden out of nowhere she brought up that recent survey on sexuality and declared it was proof bisexuality didn't exist and that people who called themselves that were just lying or confused. I am out to her, and it just floored me because she's always been the "straight but not narrow" type and supportive on these issues. I wanted to crawl into a hole somewhere and disappear.

I need a hug. Or a drink. :(
