The the jam at the end of Sugaree is beyond sublime....best version of song I've ever heard.

9. I thought I had died and went to heaven
when I stumbled across archive.org. I went out and bought an extra hard drive just to store Dead shows on, I've got about 160 altogether.
There are also some other really great bands on archive. Plus you can find some nice old stuff from the 20'2 and 30's in the 78 rpm section. Plus there are all kind of interesting cartoons, speeches, movies, etc. to browse through.

11. Yeah I'm always surprised
to discover a "new" band that I really like. I don't listen to the radio, they play the same crap over and over plus I hate commercials. In the past few days I've "discovered" Robert Randolph, Xavier Rudd, Charlie Hunter, Bad Livers, John Butler Trio, Deep Banana Blackout, .... Every day I try out a new band and I'm rarely disappointed.

14. No problem
This is one of my favorites that I've downloaded 5/11/72

BTW, one of the best people's reviews to listen to is Dr. Flashback, he has pretty good taste.

6. I was never into the Dead but have always loved Jerry Garcia's
guitar playing...that man could play!

A friend of mine made a couple of CDs for me and I am really enjoying their stuff.

7. Make sure you check out some of the early
New Riders stuff. Jerry played pedal steel guitar for them until they found Cage.
