Can anyone tell me why Laura Bush is called "Pickles"

only thing I can find is that they both call each other "Bushie." Is it something from Skull & Bones nicknaming everyone, and if it is *'s nickname for her, how did he come up with it? Again, just wondering.

the black and white episodes with Mary Tyler Moore, Morey Amsterdam played a writer with a wife he called "Pickles." Pickles was rarely heard from and never seen, but still the constant butt of jokes.

Laura Bush is referenced that way in her honour.
