I have a new "do"

And damn, I look good! Nothin' like a new style to boost a lady's morale!

1. It feels great, doesn't it? Did you get it colored, too?

I love a new cut, color, makeup item, etc. I enjoy reinventing myself. It's not vanity, people, it's ART!

2. No color added

But next time I may get bold and add some different reds to my natural (fading, alas) red.

3. Something I don't understand: Nails

As a male, I bite my fingernails, and really don't think twice about them. But women spend dough to have their fingernails sanded or painted with crazy designs. I don't get it.

4. We do it to feel and look pretty.

And so you guys will notice. Sigh.

6. I used to do my own nail tips.

I did them for several years and got quite good at it. The best part was that it only cost me about 2-3 dollars to do it myself. Nowadays, I keep mine painted but generally do tips only for special occasions.

8. Every once in a great while I get my nails done.

As for doing my own, not a good thing. My left hand comes out pretty well, but I can't paint my right hand, very sloppy effect.

9. When it comes to painting my nails and smoking I'm ambidextrous.

Not so much in any other regard. Just a matter of lots and lots of practice in either pursuit.
