I was in a similar friendship all through school--me, the geek, and my best friend, the fat girl. People were horrible to us, but we had each other's backs and we had a good time. We ended up doing well for ourselves and growing out of the goofy stages too.

While I didn't look quite as extreme as the pic I made, I wasn't too many steps away from it either. That's why I sometimes refer to the pic as a picture of my soul. Embrace the dork within, and all that jazz. :D
