13. Kid A eats the peanuts out of Amnesiac's shit
wait... what was that song on Amnesiac that sounds sort of like Thom Yorke fell asleep on his Mac keyboard with Garageband open again and accidentally recorded the sound of his face smashing against random keys?

Oh yeah, that's right, the whole damn album.

28. Kid A is better than Amnesiac IMHO, but
I do like:

Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box
Pyramid Song
You and Whose Army
Knives Out

Yes, Morning Bell is much better on Kid A!

The kewl thing about RAdiohead is they record a lot of the songs live for their albums, and it sounds like they spent 6 months recording them.

Peter Wolf--Lights Out
Xscape-Who Can I Run To
TKO-Diamond Girl
Steps-Love You More
The Firm--Radioactive
Rod Stewart--Love Touch (can you name the movie??)
Peter Cetera--One Good Woman
Phil Collins--No son of mine
Winger--Madalaine
Great White--House Of Broken Love
NIght Ranger--Sentimental Street
Paul Carrack--Don't Shed A Tear
Johnny Hates Jazz-Shattered Dreams

Now I told you so you ought to know
Ooh, it takes some time for a feelin' to grow
Ooh, you're so close now I can't let you go
Ooh, and I can't let go

With you I'm not shy to show the way I feel
With you I might try my secrets to reveal
For you are a magnet and I am steel
I can't hope that I'll hold you for long
Ooh, you're a woman who's lost to your song
Ooh, but the love that I feel is so strong
Ooh, and it can't be wrong
With you I'm not shy to show the way I feel
With you I might try my secrets to reveal
For you are a magnet and I am steel
Ooh...ooh...ooh
With you I'm not shy to show the way I feel
With you I might try my secrets to reveal
For you are a magnet and I am steel
For you are a magnet and I am steel
For you are a magnet and I am steel

I have good taste. :-)

Well, maybe except for the few Britney Spears songs that I like. But I can't resist "Baby One More Time," "Lucky," "Toxic," "Everytime," and "Brave New Girl."

And sometimes I think I'm too old to like Aly and AJ, but disregarding the targeted towards youngsters lyrics, the music is pretty well done - and they can sing.

If I like it, I don't think it's shitty, right? But I love...

All the late 70s-80s Jackson & Michael Jackson records.
INXS - Kick
I love a ton of hip hop that makes the charts, including Outkast, Killer Mike, and all the other Dirty South artists.
I loved Billy Joel when I was a kid.
Hell...I loved Barry Manilow when I was a kid.
I've seen Duran Duran live twice.

42. Naff Victoriana.
Gilbert and Sullivan, and even better Sullivan by himself (at least the Savoy Operas are supposed to be light hearted - a setting of the Te Deum isn't). Plus oodles of other ridiculously over trashy music from the high Victorian era - to my mind it's a form of high-camp.

47. Emerson, Lake and Palmer
I was a big fan of them in the early-mid 80s, when all my pals were into "New Wave". I owned all their stuff on vinyl (yes, even the dreaded "Love Beach" album) and have some of it on CD now. I pull it out and listen every few months or so, just to remind myself how dreadful my musical tastes can run.

I've been meaning to confess to all of DU that I am completely addicted to the new Fall Out Boy song, "Sugar, We're Going Down."

Worst line in the song comes in the chorus, "Loaded god complex. Cock it and pull it."

Just awful...and I LOVE IT!

60. Disco - just about anything late '60s and '70s
I cherry-pick songs I like - not wedded to any artist or style of music, though I DO like the Doobie Brothers and the Stylistics......
