4. Cool
Yeah it looked like that a lot where I live last year, too. We had a record snowfall of 16" a few days before Christmas. You understand why I don't like cold weather don't you?

6. I'm sure it has something to do with dolly's
and fifth wheel pins and frozen air lines :(

I know, that's really rough in winter. Not to mention the petrified white knuckle drivers on icy roads.

11. You got it
I used to not mind winter so much until the first time I drove a big truck on ice.

3. You're a Canuck through and through, auntieA!
:hi:

Here in Edmonton, fall is upon us. The leaves have turned and are starting to fall off.

I love the contrast of gold leaves and dark blue skies. Winter is beautiful, too. Heck, I'm a 4 season kind of gal. :D

and I'm glad you are, too! :bounce:

I miss Ontario as well. The colours there are far more beautiful, and fall lasts much longer than here (and so do the summers...ugh). But I will enjoy the moment, what's here - it still is a thing of beauty.

My sister lives near Rocky Mountain House, in Alder Flats.

14. Yes, I hope to keep up with you all, here!
You're a very exceptional group. I may have to go tanning to ward off the eczema. I've never been a sun-worshipper, but it seems to be the only thing that keeps the wretched rash away. Hmmmmm- skin cancer or a leperous facial rash-- decisions, decisions.

15. You might want to try coconut oil
I take it and it helps my eczema.

I mix it in with food, such as peanut butter (before putting on toast), or bake or fry with it. My skin is much lovelier now that I use it on a regular basis.

Sorry to hear you get depressed...it can get depressing up here in Edmonton, too. I think we have similar climates.

the cats stay indoors. The Rottweiler on the other hand LOVES to roll in the snow, especially if there is deer poop in it. arghhh
