1. Close the browser and take a bath
It used to be said that cake in the floppy drive was good, but this advice has subsequently been discredited. :silly:

4. Well, what do you want to know?
If it's porn, close the window. If you're afraid you've been infected with some spyware or a virus, use some anti-virus software or anti-spyware software as appropriate, and then sort out yourself a firewall.

10. Surfing the internet...
you're going to see a lot of things that you don't want to. Most of them, you will stumble into due to missleading links or pop-ups. But sometimes your internet-savy friends will send you links to disgusting content, and that can also be a problem. The best solution would be to never go near a computer again, but I doubt you'll do that.

Unfortunately, web communities can spread some pretty bad memes around. You can never really get away from them, but being careful about what you click can help you become a better surfer.

12. Legit porn vs. non-legit porn
What you want to ask for is how to scrub the image and tracking history. I think that there's a file that stores EVERYTHING you've looked at/downloaded. I think that's how the Feds get some of the folks that view the illegal stuff. It doesn't get scrubbed by a "Delete History" or cookies cleaning, either.

You'll want to run an Adaware and Spyblocker program to eliminate all the shit those pop-up windows just installed...

13. it's in your history
you can find the name there. Clean your cache, your history and cookies, if you allow any old cookie to be set. I wouldn't even block it. Then there is a track that you know about it.

I'm not a big pr0n person. But if I were, the last place I'd look at it would be on the internets, where everybody knows your name-at least your IP addy, unless you have an anonymizer or proxy server.

8. Ah, well, I'm afraid there's no way to scrub your BRAIN,
which sounds like what you want. :silly:

Be careful out there, the 'net can be a gross place.
