Help! My keyboard went goofy...
Types 2 letters when I hit one key. The space bar adds 2 letters. I got out an old keyboard but I like the other one much better.

How can I fix it?

Seriously, though, there could be dust underneath it. It could be many things. Did you double check your connection?

Take the keys off and spray everything out with one of those compressed air cans if you have one, or brush the circuit board off.

2. Because I drug out an old keyboard I had laying around
I did spray it with air. Haven't taken the keys off yet. I thought maybe it was a glitchy thing happening.

What it does is something like this... mbyntkeynbxoard (my keyboard)
space bar show a letter instead of a space.

3. Does it do that in all applications?
Or just one?

Most likely it is an error with the circuit board. Take the keys off and make sure everything looks normal (i.e. the board is not warped or anything).

4. Happens all the time
Even when I tried to search for troubleshooting in help. Opened word and it happened there too.

Next step is keys off. Since this keyboard works, I'll try that tomorrow.

Thanks!
