He's seen NOTHING but cover 2 defense and NO safety his entire career. He's having to relearn coverages at this point. And without any proper coaching, he's not going to just pick it up. This may take a while. Brad Johnson will definitely help.

We're an awesome team and are damn proud of it!

Everyone said this to us last year "yeah, yeah those Eagles fans do this every year then have to eat crow." Well guess what? Nobody thought we'd have a snowball's chance in hell to make it to the Super Bow AND WE DID! We proved many people wrong just by getting there - and without TO. No one thought we could do that either and we did.

And, there are many people who are not only predicting we'll go back to the SB but that we have a good chance to win it....and I'm one of them! I don't see how anyone can act like we're so overrated and have no reason to think we're good. We went to the SB last year without TO's help in the playoffs and lost to the champions by only a few points. We're a good team and people need to stop hating on us.

We love our Eagles and ALWAYS have and always will, no matter how bad we play. But we're a good team and we're sure as shit proud of our guys.

except for possibly last year (the writers always pick the pats to lose either in the playoffs, or in the SB. never happens). pats lost to Miami last year, and miami sucked ass. still won the SB IIRC. losing to shit teams in week 2, or even week 15, means absolutely nothing.

The fact is they played like shit yesterday and had absolutely no excuse or reason to be playing so poorly. Methinks they (and *cough* their fans) are getting a wee bit big-headed. It is a new year and every team has an equal chance to make it this year...but to be talking smack when your team just got spanked by a shitty team is a tad :eyes:

I'm just sayin' a lot of people hate on Eagles fans cause we love our team and love our team equally whether they win or lose. I'd rather our fans be like that than the fans who start getting all into their city's team only when they do well. I don't know any Eagles fans who just jumped on board the last year or two...we've all been going to games since we were 2!

Maybe the Pats will win this year, maybe they wint. But if they keep being so cocky and not backing it up like yesterday, they won't even make it to the playoffs. There are MANY good teams that have a real chance to go to Detroit...the Pats are one of them of course but so are the Eagles. To act like the Pats have it in the bag and the Eagles' chances are a pipe dream is what I was taking issue with. If I remember correctly we were playing the Pats in the SB last year and y'all didn't run away with it as bad as some thought you would :evilgrin:
