Just past midnight ....... are we who post & read @ DU nutz?
Not so much as living with 235 cats in a 2 bedroom house outside of St. Paul nutz
but do we reinforce our own psychosis i.e. the election was stolen and
bush's days are #ed?

Is DU just our own little world?

BTW ..... i apologize to all DUers who live with 235 cats. To the people in St. Paul
not so much.

assuming only married couples stay home with their kids, it's parents of course. Sorry for a dumb moment.

9. I think we do create our own reality's
I come to DU and it's like this little Utopia of like minded people who all see what a dope Bush is. Then I listen to the MSM or some of my friends and get brought back to reality. This country has a long way to go before it catches up to DU.

It's only 10:00 here.

17. Not all agree with Diebold stealing votes. Just voter suppression.
Much evidence of that. And so a great reason for voter transparency.

As to Bush - not all think he will go away. And quite frankly - the longer he stays the more he undoes the whole neocon product.

19. Rove stole "hearts & minds". They use fear. They don't fix the things
that garner them wedges. Look for Diebold not to be transparent for a long, long time to come.

and poll workers and such and i agree with your over all statements. A super computer is too far out there for me to believe. It was all fear and hate

21. I think there are documented instances of too long lines in democratic
areas because of lack of machines. Intimidation. Vetting for felons in black neighborhoods but not in Latino in Florida.

So much more. And all just a way to suppress the vote in particularly needed ridings - so Bush could win.

Apathy too is a tool. Saddam used it. Why wouldn't Rove.

28. You don't need a 'super computer' to fix an election
This is a common misconception. With electronic voting--it's baby simple...doesn't require a high level of skill.

Take a look at "A Diebold Insider Speaks"

22. Hey - don't knock two bedroom homes. Right now i am waiting for
the landlord to replace and then take away second fridge. Hall furniture has been in the bedroom for one month. Cats think it is fun. All I can do is log onto the boards to pretend it isn't my home right now.

Stuff happens. If I could afford a three bedroom on my own - I would have gotten one!

26. Just a driveby check-in to the fabulous Botany, whose nuttiness I prize.
I also prize his very serious side. But you know, when you care so much about people and world events, you have to balance it with laughter. In these nightmarish times, which are a turning point one way or the other, the need for balance and contact with like minds and laughter is even more intense.

Time for bed - maybe I'll have a Gull Bay dream. (A KOEB inside joke)

Yes, we're all nuts. But definitely the good kind that the world needs more of.

Here's to all of us, whereever we may be: :toast: :grouphug:

And to you, Botany:

Oh, and here's a treat to make you smile: an unrelated story that I find hilarious and cheering. Seeing the expression on his face as he poses by his highway sign gets me every time. Be sure to read the story, it's GOP baiting by gays and it's glorious:

32. Any and all fall fault of .......
..... is because of the "St Paul Seven."

They work for Karl Rove and control our brain waves. We have to
learn more about St. Paul because close to the corner of Grand and
Dale Streets that is where "they" have the supercomputer that Rove
used to steal the election.

We are close to cracking this case so do not log add to this thread
unless you have a code 8 clearance from "# 1."
