How is it that "models" know so much about Hurricanes?

I just don't understand that. Models are just overly thin self medicated coat hangers what could they know about hurricanes?

I am so sick of hearing about what the "models" have to say about hurricanes just like I am sick of hearing about what the "Poles" think about politicians (what about the Irish or the Italians or the
Greek?).
