Last time I checked, SF got spanked by the Eagles. They had TO double-covered TWICE and couldn't prevent him from getting a touchdown. They could barely manage a FG! Come on.

And who was in the SB last year? I don't recall it being SF, or the Cowboys, Steelers, Packers, Raiders, Redskins, Dolphins, Giants, Broncos, Jets, Chiefs, Colts, Bears, Rams, Ravens, or the Bucs.

Does that mean all those teams suck? No. Philadelphia is a great team who nobody ever thought would make it to the SB again and they did. And, they made it through the playoffs without TO - something nobody thought we would. Plus, they have a very good chance of making it back to the SB again this year and winning. They deserve at least an ioda of respect for that.

Yes, they just beat the 49ers to leap to 1-1, but this may be as good as it gets this year for Eagles fans. It won't be so easy this year to get back to the SB. The Seahawks, Bucs, Cowboys, Falcons, Rams, Panthers, even the Giants and Redskins, could have enough to end it for Philly.

The same people on DU bitching about the Eagles now were the same people making fun of Philly fans last year saying we'd never get over the hump. You can put up numbers all you want but we have some of the best players in the league and it damn well shows. I'm sorry if you cannot accept that.

You're just a Philly hater, clearly. Why people get this worked up over football is beyond me, but I can't see why or how you're automatically dismissing a team that came pretty damn close to winning the SB last year. Will they go back? Maybe we will, maybe not. But to act like they are a crappy team and don't have a snowball's chance in hell of at LEAST making the playoffs is just absurd. And if they make the playoffs they are at least a good team.
